#WanderlustWednesday: Laucala Private Island Resort

Imagine, a private island refuge in the South Pacific. Clear turquoise waters, soft, Egyptian cotton white sheets, exotically flavored foods straight from a sustainable garden on the grounds. Your own private villa, complete with infinity pool and private jetty. And this, is all against the dramatic backdrop of a gorgeous rainforest, white sand beaches, coconut groves and endless coral reefs. Welcome to Laucala Island Resort in Fiji. Style and sustainability jump the broom at this resort with it’s gardens that boast fresh-daily fruits and vegetables, and it’s farm with cows and chickens, providing fresh food to the restaurant on the grounds. With the Koro Sea in their backyard, there’s plenty of fresh seafood. Talk about farm to table!

Laucala is located on the privately-owned Laucala Island, one of a triplet of small islands, located on Taveuni in Fiji, on the Koro Sea. When you arrive at Nadi International Airport in Fiji, guest relations meets you there, then whisks you off on a private plane to the island. The resort only has 25 villas to fill, so no worries about an over-crowded stay. Talk about wanderlusting! Who’s ready to hop a plane? Oh, and don’t say I didn’t tell you but, this place ain’t cheap, so save your pennies!

Xx,

Angel
